Become a CYLIP Partner

Funding Partners

Funding outside of the initial core financial support from USAID-ESC will allow the CYLIP to:

  • Expand interns, speakers, mentors and coaches recruitment beyond the Eastern Caribbean, to the wider Caribbean.
  • Provide prizes for the interns for innovation and ingenuity in solving an environmental, climate, hydrometeorological challenge experienced by entrepreneurs/small-medium business.
  • Provide support for interns' attachment with the US universities and institutions.

Implementing Partners

Implementing partners outside of CIMH provide opportunities for:

  • In-person introduction to the world of work.
  • Experience in climate change adaptation action at the grassroots level.
  • Work with climate-sensitive sectors to experience the application of climate and weather forecasts/information by end users to make informed decisions.

Attachment/Exchange Partners

US and other universities and academic institutions interested in mutually beneficial exchange and attachment programmes to:

  • Provide CYLIP interns with exposure to academic peers and institutions outside of the Caribbean.
  • Expose CYLIP interns to other science and technology based solutions especially those addressing climate change.
  • Expose CYLIP interns to other young innovators and entrepreneurs.
